Prior to 1979 hurricanes were named only for women.
It was right and proper. Then men's names were
added. But that is when Global Warming and More
Intense Hurricanes began to appear. I think the
Hurricane Goddesses were not pleased with names of men
being attached to hurricanes and the lack of respect
this showed.

[MacDill] Aircraft Operations Center is a Center of the NOAA
Marine and Aviation Office. The airplanes and helicopters of
the Aircraft Operations Center (AOC) are flown in support of
NOAA's mission to promote global environmental assessment,
prediction and stewardship of the Earth's environment.
NOAA's aircraft operate throughout the United States and
around the world; over open oceans, mountains, coastal
wetlands, and Arctic pack ice. These versatile aircraft
provide scientists with airborne platforms necessary to
collect the environmental and geographic data essential to
their research:"

Alafia River at
Lithia Gage Height: This does not affect LSC, it is only for
general information of those who follow the Alafia River.
A flood at Lithia does NOT directly affect LSC.
After
Hurricane Charley, the Alafia crested at over 15 feet at
Lithia.
The Alafia crested
at Lithia at over 22.2 feet on September 7, 2004 after
Hurricane Frances. That would make the Hurricane Frances
flood the 5th highest flood in the 70 years since records have
been kept.
