1394 sex offenders/predators, (down about 17 from two months ago and up about 130
from a year ago), the Riverview zip code has 49 sex offenders/predators, (down
about 3 from two months and unchanged from a year ago).

How To
Start a Neighborhood Watch Group
Thanks to Theresa for suggesting that
this information be posted.
For more information call the
Hillsborough County Sheriff's Neighborhood Watch Program, 247-8115.
And you can also get a couple of
neighbors and patrol your streets at night and call in any
suspicious activity to the Sheriff's nonemergency number
813-247-8200. An hour or so periodically can be effective.
I know a person who was out early one morning in the car patrolling
LSC and came upon a small car driving very slowly right through our
subdivision. With lights off so as not to tip off the possible
criminal, the suspicious car was followed at a safe distance.
Just before the Sheriff was called, it was very suspicious, and then a newspaper was seen flying out of the
car's window.
