How to Run for Election
to the CDD Board
Next Election is November 2006, where 2 of the 5 CDD seats are on the ballot.
CDD Board Members are paid $200 each per meeting.
If you wish to run for the CDD Board, the webmasters are
offering a complimentary page on this website to post any information that you
would like to post to inform residents of your candidacy.
How to get on the Ballot
Running for a seat on the CDD at LSC is
exactly the same process as running for a seat on the Hillsborough County
Commission.
The CDD election is overseen by the
Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections.
If you run unopposed for a seat on the
CDD, then no election is held, and you automatically win that seat.
However if you are opposed by another candidate for the CDD, then your
name will appear on the ballot of the 2004 elections, and the homeowners of LSC
who are registered to vote will go to the Polling Place (Riverview First
Assembly of God, 6605 Krycul Avenue) and vote for the candidate of their choice.
