Aerial and Map of LSCMore Aerials/Maps in E-clectic Links. Are you tired of having to draw your own maps of LSC by standing on top of your house and trying to carefully draw all the streets to scale? Have you taken up sky diving just to see what LSC looks like from the air, only to drop the Kodak one-time-use camera before you snapped the picture? Yes, I did the same thing. Now there is a much better solution. Now you have several great ways to look at Lake St. Charles or make your own map. Now you can make your
own map of your LSC neighborhood 1. Open the Map of LSC in pdf 2. Zoom in to the area you want to print. 3. Select the area with the Adobe Reader Snapshot Tool on the Adobe toolbar. 4. Click "File." 5. Click "Print." I have used this to print sections of LSC when we pass out flyers. Sometimes it takes a couple of times before the map will open and it takes a while to open because the file is so large, but I have always been able to get my needed map. If you need to make a map and have a problem, call me, John Bakas, 677-2599 and I will also try to print the map you need. You need Adobe Reader to open the above pdf file. If you do not have it you may get if for free. Click on the Adobe Reader icon below.
++++++ Aerial of LSC in 1999 Topographical Map of LSC 1987 Aerial of LSC in pdf (maybe 10 minutes to download with cable modem. This is a great picture, with all the lots shown and the streets named right on the aerial, but you could rent a helicopter in the time it takes to download.) Map of LSC in pdf (about two minutes to download with a cable modem) The Map is a Hillsborough County Planning Commission future land use map for the LSC area as of November 2003. If anyone sees me standing on my roof now, I won't be drawing a street map, I will be looking for that Kodak camera! Note on the drawn borders on the aerial and map: The borders shown on the aerial and Map are only to help you locate the general Lake St. Charles area. The borders are not the borders of the Lake St. Charles Community Development District or land subject to the the Home Owners' Association. We think the aerial was taken in 2002. You will note the north side of the lake and Remington on the south have a few houses. If anyone can figure out when the aerial was taken please let us know by e-mail.
